The Festival

Jelling Musikfestival is known for its cozy, popular and pleasurable image. Since 1989, the festival has taken place every year in end of May.

The festival is located in a beautiful area just outside the town.

The address is Mølvangvej 66B, 7300 Jelling.

The audience

Jelling Musikfestival has gradually become a large festival – anyway there will never be more than 30.000 people at the festival ground at once. 

The organization

Jelling Musikfestival is an association, which is intended to make a music festival every year.

The festival is nonprofit.

In connection with the festival there is a foundation called “Festivalfonden af 2006”.

The festival board consist 5 members – but the responsibility on a daily basis is run by a festival administration with aprox. 10 fulltime employees.

During the festival, a large number of volunteers are doing different jobs.
